Welcome to ZenBucks. By accessing or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ZenBucks, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

2. Account Creation and Security

To use ZenBucks, you need to create an account using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Subscription Services

3.1 Subscription Required

ZenBucks requires an active subscription to access all app features. Without an active subscription, you will not have access to the app's functionality.

3.2 Subscription Plans

We offer two subscription options:

  • Monthly: Billed monthly
  • Yearly: Billed annually

3.3 Free Trial

New subscribers are eligible for a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the free trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged the applicable subscription fee.

3.4 Auto-Renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

3.5 Payment and Billing

  • All payments are processed through the Apple App Store
  • Subscription fees are charged to your Apple ID account
  • Prices may vary by location and are subject to change with notice
  • You are responsible for any applicable taxes

3.6 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. To manage your subscription:

  1. Go to your Profile page in the app
  2. Tap "Manage Subscription" to open Apple's subscription management page

Alternatively, you can manage your subscription directly through your device's App Store settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to app features until the subscription expires.

3.7 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their standard refund policy. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, contact Apple Support or visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all financial data you create within the application. Your transaction data is stored securely in the cloud, allowing you to access your information across multiple devices.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without any warranties, expressed or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. We are not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on the app's features or content.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZenBucks and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the app
  • Any financial decisions made based on the app's features or content
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Inaccuracies or errors in calculations or data presentation
  • Any subscription-related issues, including billing disputes
  • Any other matter relating to the app

7. Financial Disclaimer

ZenBucks is a tool for personal financial tracking and is not a substitute for professional financial advice. The app provides features for tracking expenses, income, and budgets, but does not offer financial planning, investment advice, or other financial services. Always consult with a qualified financial advisor before making important financial decisions.

8. AI Features

The AI buddy feature in ZenBucks uses OpenAI's API to process your messages and extract transaction details. While we strive to ensure the accuracy of these features, we cannot guarantee that all transactions will be correctly identified or categorized. You should review all AI-suggested transactions for accuracy before confirming them.

9. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your device and account
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • The accuracy of the financial information you enter
  • Managing your subscription through your device's App Store settings
  • Ensuring your use of the app complies with applicable laws

10. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use ZenBucks for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the service. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the app or any systems or networks connected to the app.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of any changes via in-app notifications. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Changes to subscription terms will not affect your current subscription period.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the app immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including, without limitation, if you breach these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
